Ollie Mae Hebert Goodman, 92, resident of Lake Charles, passed from this life on August 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Ollie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her parents, Columbus and Annie Hebert, husband, Marvin Goodman, brother, Roland Hebert, and great grandson, Jeremy Miller.

She is survived by her children: Charles E. Goodman and wife Paula, Kathleen Ann Miller and husband Mike, James Richard Goodman and wife Barbara, Kenneth Wayne Goodman and wife Gail, Susan Diana Higginbotham and husband Dale, Theresa Marie Prejean and husband Gary, and Bonnie Faye Menard and husband Kevin, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 10 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 until time of service at 1:30 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Miller is to officiate. A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jason Langhofer and the staff of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care during Mrs. Goodman's illness.
