Lake Charles resident, Bill Deaton, left this earth on Thursday, April 14th, 2016. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Dot) Deaton and sister, Elsie Ferrel.
He attended McNeese State University and retired from Sowela Tech. Bill loved antiques and owned an antique store in Fenton, LA for a number of years. He also loved art and created many beautiful drawings and sculptures. Bill loved to travel and experience new things. He and his beloved wife were able to take many memorable trips together throughout their marriage.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Minister Charles Huddleston is to officiate. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park.
