Janie S. Cline, 66, a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, passed away on May 17, 2015 in a local care facility.

Ms. Cline will be remembered as a loving and devoted sister and aunt. In her spare time, Janie loved to sail and garden. Janie was very creative and loved crafts. She was a Registered Nurse for many years and cherished her time as a nurse.

Janie is predeceased by her parents Robert L. Cline Jr. and Geraldine Fly Cline


She leaves to cherish her memory her two sisters, Mary St. Roman and husband Tommy and Geraldine Spell and husband Ted, two nieces and one nephew.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. A celebration of Janie''s life will be held at 11:30 AM. The Very Reverend Jack Myers is to officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.

In lieu of customary remembrances the family request that donations be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Charles at 715 Kirkman Street, Lake Charles, La.
