Fred's love for people made him a giver, not only material things, but of himself .His sound advice about things of the heart. To treat others as you would want them to treat you. He didn’t talk the “Golden Rule”, he lived it. I have never heard Fred speak damnation on anyone.Fred was not perfect, but then, who is, save one, and that
being Jesus Christ. We all have fallen short of the glory of God. We all have had our
highs and our lows. But when it is all said and done, we know that God does not make
mistakes. We meet here not by chance but by design. This day was appointed long
before anybody ever knew there would even be a Fred. Fred got us here today to
examine ourselves, to get our house in order, to throw out some stuff and put some
new stuff in. And realize that time has no respect of person. It will run out when you
least expect, thinking I’ll start cleaning house tomorrow. Tomorrow is the place where
dreams die. Fred is talking to us right now, saying; don’t look around, or to the side
but to look inside. Fred passed this way, not by accident but by divine purpose. Let’s
honor his life and death by honoring the reason he got us here and that is to examine
ourselves.Family and friends of Fred,Thank God for the time he allowed us to have Fred the friend, Fred the father, Fred the son, Fred the brother,… Fred the child of
God……….Amen and God Bless
