Obituary for Leah Kay Tate

Leah Kay  Tate
Leah Kay Tate, 50, affectionately known as Kay-Kay died peacefully in her home
on March 22, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer.

Kay Kay worked for the Calcasieu Council on Aging. She will be remembered for having a heart of gold. Her kindness and giving nature were her hallmark. Kay Kay loved children and children cherished her friendship. She was a devout Christian and loved the
Lord.

Kay- Kay leaves to mourn her loss her parents Calvin and Louise Gary Tate
of Lake Charles, her brother, Brett Tate of Lake Charles, her sister, Lisa Kim
Guidry of Lake Charles, four nieces, and two nephews two great nieces and two
great nephews.

A memorial service will be held on March 25, 2014 at 7:30 PM in
the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Trouille officiating.
Visitation will take place on March 25, 2014 from 4:00 PM until time of service.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:00PM. Her cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside
Funeral Home. Words of comfort may be expressed to the family at
